My name’s Carla, and I’m the leader for Alpha here at Faith Christian Church. I’ve had the honour to pioneer Alpha on behalf of Ps Matt and Franca with a team of 35, and 78 guests rolling through the doors over the last 8 weeks. We wrapped up an incredible season. God has done amazing things!!

Holy Spirit Saturday – we had 23 people baptised in the Holy Spirit. But who really struck out of the crowd for me the most were two people: 1, my brother, who for so long literally resented God. 2, a friend I invited along to capture the journey.

Both encountered the holy spirit and walked in as nonbelievers, now believing. One came in, surrendered, because he had had enough of living a life that was destroying him and his family. The other came in just to capture videos and photos, but got to witness not only what others experienced, but also captured his own experience too. So amazing. There are so many!! A homeless man is now not homeless. An ex-witch, now a solid believer. Just wow. Who could you even pick? We’re super excited for the next one and what God is already in the plans of doing!! Not one hand left unraised or heart surrendered.
