Williamstown Church of Christ
The first year was a hard year, but in the 2nd year our small church really started to get excited about Alpha. The whole church was praying and helping out on the Alpha nights, we also joined up with a local Anglican Church for the Alpha Course in what we hope is a long standing partnership.
We ran it with a total of 30 people coming through the Alpha course, with about 6 guests who wanted to stay on in their study group after Alpha concluded. In this 6, we have 2 people that through this course have come back into a faith (one has joined our church while the other is still a little burnt from previous experiences but engaging with God), 3 who are very early on in their faith journey and Alpha has been a big part of solidifying their faith in Jesus (all 3 are looking to get baptised soon), and a nominal catholic who is still wrestling with God.
