Lakeside Baptist

We were running Alpha at Lakeside for a number of years. I had 44 years as an engineer, nothing to do with prisons in my life. In 2014, I was asked to jointly run Alpha at Acacia Prison, by the Chaplain, who found out we were running it at Lakeside. She said “pretty please, can you run Alpha at Acacia.”

We were blown away by the impact on the men, and we treated it as a direct leading from the Lord.

Now, we have jointly run 20 Alphas at Acacia, and covered about 320 men so far. We have seen many men come to the Lord, and some men have had profound transformations. It is one of the most awesome experiences in my life!
